Friday night we stayed home, ordered our favorite Mexican food, and watched tv all night. I love those kinds of nights at home with Casey, they are the best!
Saturday he woke up at 3am because he couldn't sleep and played Guitar Hero until I finally woke up at 8:30. I am such a late sleeper these days on the weekends, and I love it! While I soaked in the tub (my normal Saturday morning ritual) he went and picked up his horses from the feedlot, picked up a dog for his dad, went to Tractor Supply, and of course...stopped at Sonic for me a Vanilla DP. By the time he did all that I was dressed and ready to head to his parents in Rockne. The guys were going to rope and fry bull nuts (ick) while Amy and I went to Austin...where we ate at Cheddars. Of course, the two of us aren't big shoppers so we only got exactly what we went for and headed home. I always say the most important part of shopping is figuring out where you are going to eat! They were just finishing up roping when we got back to their house and about to start all the fried nastyness. Amy joked that they purposely waited on her to get there so she would help... I am sure that's the exact reason! She helped, I did not... My cousins Kate and Clark Kibby were also there and I got to watch them ride their horses in the arena and I took Kate on fourwheeler rides around the ranch. They are 8 and 4...such fun ages!!! Everyone else sat around drinking beer and eating their fried nastyness... I just sat and listened to drunken stories :) The party finally ended around 11 so we cleaned up, showered and went to bed. Casey spent the night on the bathroom floor, if you know what I mean. I guess he'll never learn. We were up and back home in Gonzales around noon so I started laundry and cooked lunch while he continued his hangover on the couch....
That's our weekend in a nutshell... not too much happening around here this week.
I love this cooler weather, it finally feels like the holidays!
PS. Sorry, this was the only picture I took this weekend.... I know it's hard to see b/c it's a little blurry!! It's Kate and her horse, Jenny!

Oh what a night! Sounds like you had a fun weekend...minus the fried nastiness! I have funny story about those that I may have to blog about someday! Oh...I'm jealous of your Saturday morning soak in the tub!!!!!!
