weekend in rockport....

aww, i love the coast. my family used to spend at least a week there every summer... and i could be a beach bum!

 this past weekend we went to rockport and stayed with casey's best friend from goliad, charlie. his entire family was there and most of which we knew from college. we had a great time! i think i have finally won casey over... he LOVES the coast, and can't wait to go back! he's already planning another trip this summer.

we stayed with his family at a super awesome house and we were the last house on the street so their yard had almost a 360 view/access to the water! we had our own pool, hot tub, 2 covered decks, 2 grills.... it was sooo nice! charlie's family also owns a house just down the street, so all of the cousins all stayed in it.

 the first night, casey stayed out until 4am fishing. he said he knew he better come in when the 'real fisherman' and their boats were going out for the day.

sunday the boys took me shopping...but all we brought back were 8 pounds of shrimp, pretty good suntans, and GREAT memories. i am glad we got to go AND we didn't have to pay for anything... they were so good to us.

Sunday when I got home Casey and I feel asleep and woke up just in time to go to bed.... We sure did miss our Paisley though. I went to pick her up on Monday from gammy and po po's. They said she is spoiled... hmm!?!?

She sure was glad to see me :)

My mother inlaw (gammy) and I went Monday for girls day out. We ate at Red Lobster, went to Teacher Heaven (that store is amazing), and then went and saw Sex In The City 2. It was sooo good - laugh out loud funny. Go see it!
