with a title like that, this would typically be an upbeat post about how lovely my hubby of 3 years is. however, his face took a turn for the worse last weekend when it was met by the hoof of a angry colt. here is the result....
Day 1: Sunday morning. Swollen, sore, bruised, and raw.
Day 2: Monday morning. Very raw, swollen and sore.
The good news is he is completely back to normal (with the exception of the lingering black eye). The skin across his face is healed and the swelling is gone! We are so thankful this was just a flesh wound and not broken bones or damaged sinus cavities!
My dad had his nose broken by a colt years ago. Mom said his nose was laying over completely flat on his face...so yes, be glad no broken bones. But that looked EXTREMELY painful!
