Turkeyless Thanksgiving.

For Thanksgiving this year, dad decided on a seafood "dump" instead of the usual Turkey. We had crab legs, shrimp, scallops, corn on the cob, potatoes, and sausage.... and full stomachs! It was so good.

I spent the Wednesday through Sunday in Hamilton, aka Hamiltopia, as previously mentioned in the prior blog. It was everything I'd hoped for... sleeping, eating, Alco, etc.

I even managed to visit the less than wonderful Hico Clinic for this coughing crap I've developed. Three prescriptions later, I am on the road to recovery.

Thursday, for the real Thanksgiving, we had ham, cornish game hen (yummo), and all the traditional sides... with yours truly providing the sweet taters. They are my speciality.

I believe a good time was had by all. Here is a recap of the amazing week(end) in Hamilton.
1. napped
2. stayed in my pj's 90% of the time
3. ate too much
4. drank a lot of coffee (it's what you do at the Neie's)
5. helped mom clean house. and i mean clean house.
(mainly b/c of the steriods. they make me crazy)
6. napped
7. board games with the family
8. shopped at alco
9. watched the texan theater burn (sad)
10. ate some more

We also celebrated my bday while everyone was in town.
I made my own birthday cake because I'm a darn good baker. (I am for-hire)

And I got this lovely addition to all of my Vera Bradley items...

And I got to hear Baby J's heartbeat!!! It basically sounds like someone running on a treadmill. Lacey  had a Dr's visit today and everything is going great. My suspicions of the sex will be confirmed on Dec. 29th.
