Guess who got a J-O-B!?!?!?

yours truly....

God does answer prayers in mysterious ways :)
I got a call while I was at Lacey's last week to come in for an interview at Yoakum ISD. The interview was for a 7th grade Math position...YIKES! I agreed to the interview because regardless of the position, the interview was great practice for me. So I went Monday and met with the Math teachers and Principal. I felt like it went well, but I was sweatin' it the whole time, worried they would ask me a Math question. Ha!

I got a call Tuesday morning that the Principal thought I interviewed well and would like me to consider the Science position instead. That position had just recently been filled, but he wanted to switch that new teacher and myself so that she was teaching Math. Of course, I agreed! This was the best news I could get... Science, I LOVE Science!!! Then, he asked me to come back on Thursday (yesterday) and meet with the Science Dept. this time. So yesterday, I got to meet them, answer any questions they had, and then they gave me a tour of what 'might' be my classroom and lab area. I was thinking "is this some sort of mean trick??" But then I got the call 9:33 this morning... and he offered me the 7th Grade Science position!!! I am so excited. I wish school started next week!

He also asked me if I would be interested in the High School Cheerleading Coach position.... that is still undeterminded, but I would love to do it. I just have to run things by Casey first and see what all I should get myself into.

Isn't that the best news ever!?!??

GO DOGS!
