manual labor

if you know me well at all, you know i despise yard work, sweating, manual labor .... all of which go hand-in-hand. but, today i set out to do just the opposite of my saturday routine... i was going to do OUTSIDE work.

on a typical saturday you can find me INSIDE my house, cleaning, baking, cooking, laying on the couch and doing other things of that nature. but today however, since my hard-working cowboy is at work ALLLLLLL weekend, i decided to take matters into my own hands.... and do yard work!!!! i pulled weeds, mowed, weedeated, and got out the blower even! whew.

i am pretty dang proud of the results. that however, does NOT mean i will be doing this anytime in the near future again. it was just flat out exhausting. here are a few pictures for proof... as i am sure people are finding this as hard to believe as my husband did :)
