I am a (probationary) teacher in the great state of TEXAS! WHOOP!
Probationary just means that after one full year of teaching I will then be fully certified. It is this way b/c I did an "alternate" route to certification and skipped the student teaching part. The state considers baptism by fire, aka your first year of teaching, to count instead of student teaching. SO YIPPEE. It's officially official!
YAY! Congrats... Been thinking about you this week (weekend) as I have been getting my room ready! Hope it all goes great! I just LOVE your mom :) She is the BEST and keeps our school going! OH and YES, my girls are VERY close in age. Abbey and Lainey are 22 months apart and Lainey and Emiley are 14 months apart. They were ALL three born in 3 yrs. and 3 weeks! It is fun now, but it was some crazy times back then. Good Luck the next few weeks. You will be GREAT!!!!
