my favorite time of year....

it's almost the holidays... which is my favorite time of year. i am not sure if it's the food, family, time off from work, or maybe it's my birthday is coming up too. all of these things make me so giddy for the fall/winter. i love it!

here are a few reasons why i love this time of year!

1. sweet potatoes
2. getting to spend time with my parents and sister.. and of course, baby ella!
3. cooler weather
4. getting dark earlier at night
5. birthday cards, flowers, phone calls, text/fb messages
6. carving pumpkins with casey (i might be doing all the carving this year)
7. fall decorations (and i have a lot of them)
8. our anniversary on november 10th... happy 3 years!
9. drinking coffee on the back porch
10. my homemade soups and gumbo!

    I'm usually all about Summer, but this year I am so ready for it to cool off! Love all the seasonal outfits...I can't wait to buy those!

    Love these things too and am giddy for nothing but the fact that I will get to see the family a few times in the next few months! :)
    I made a big pot of soup tonight ... and cornbread!

    Love Ella's Halloween tu-tu! So cute :) I LOVE this time of year, too! It is my birthday season, too... When is yours? Mine is 11-22! THANKSGIVING time every year!!!
