I have just realized, in my month(s) of blogging, I have yet to mention my beautiful Paisley!

This little doll is the light of our lives... and yes, I said "our lives". Casey is just as in love with this furry creature as I am. All my life when people spoke of their pets being like children to them, I laughed to myself thinking it was impossible. Now that I have Paisley... I can relate!!! We literally treat her better than most of the children are probably treated in this neighborhood. But that's not saying much considering where we live. (that was a joke, kindof)
And, since everyone else keeps up with their children's milestones via blog, I figured I would do the same with Paisers (as we affectionately call her).
-Paisley loves to lick her arms, constantly!
-Paisley is always begging for food at the dinner table
-Paisley loves to run outside and eat grass, then throw up
-Paisley loves her cousin Sadie. But the feelings are not mutual
-Paisley especially is a good girl at Gma an Gpa's in Hamilton, where she potties outside with the big dogs
-Adding to the one above--Paisley has not yet mastered pottying outside at our house.... but she's great w/ the pottypad!
-Paisley loves to chew on furniture. Especially our nice oak futon in the 'man room'.
-Paisley give the best "smooches" ever... and the most.
-If you can't find Paisley, she's perched in the man room window, spying on everyone in the neighborhood
-Paisley loves her squirrel. She will not go to bed until she finds it
-Paisley sleeps with us... bad, I know. It's casey's fault. :)
She is such a special doggie to us, we love her dearly. Yes, we scold her for chewing things up and other discipline problems... but I honestly find it hard to spank her.
Paisley and her daddy... 8 wks old.

Awe... I love her just reading this and I don't even know her!
ReplyDeleteWow, she has changed looks so much! Don't worry that Sadie doesn't show affection to Paisley. She is a grumpy old lady to everyone but me and Dad. The licking is cute...for the first fifty five licks. Maybe she thinks I'm a Tootsie Pop?!!?!?! I love my niece-dog dearly. I think Sadie secretly does because when Paisley stops paying attention to her and stops mounting her, Sadie gets in her face and paws at her. She secretly longs for Paisley's affection. Casey does spoil her and causes her to make that awful noise...eeek-so shrill! However, she is a sweet sweet girl and the four of us (you, me, and the doggies) slept so well together the other night in the same bed. Hope she has a good weekend at the other gma's.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds to me like Paisley is like all children. They are as sweet as can be at Grandma's and then they come home to see how far they can push you. I am so glad to have another blog to check.
