A friend from college, Sandy, and I have reconnected via blogspot and I love that every Friday she participates in a "Show Us Your Life" section hosted by another blog.... I just had to participate in this one especially since I LOVE food soooo much!
This week Kelly's Corner is hosting a "Show Us Your Life" Desserts!
This dessert is my absolute favorite that my mom makes.... nothing else tops it!
CHOCOLATE TORT
crust -- 1 c. flour, 1 c. pecans, 1 stick of butter, (mix all and press into dish)
filling -- 1 pkg of cream cheese, 1 c. sugar, 1/2 tub cool whip
next layer -- mix 1 pkg instant chocolate pudding & vanilla, 4 cups cold milk
top w/ remaining cool whip and sprinkle pecans.
let it chill for about 30 min to an hour before serving!
And, if I had to pick a second favorite... it would be mom's sopapilla dessert! I see you like it too, Sandy!
