Baby Names...

I know that all of you are expecting a blog covering the details of beautiful baby Ella's arrival... but it will have to wait for another day... I want to be able to take my time, and time is not something I have at this moment.

I don't know if any of you are familiar with the blog "Kelly's Korner", but this past Friday she was hosting a "show us your baby names" day. Every Friday it's something different, and that was the topic for last week....

When I was younger I was obsessed with naming my children Carter (insert middle name here) & Jenna Kayleen.... however, have times have changed and so has my opinion. Here are the names that are presently my favorites....keep in mind, these probably will change by the time there is a bun in this oven :) And NO, we are NOT expecting... I have just always been fascinated with what I will name my children!

Karley Jane

I really love this name... but I don't think Casey is too sold on "Jane". I like it b/c my mother's middle name is Janet and my MIL's middle name is Jean.... sort-of a good mix of both names!

Cooper Michael

Casey really likes this name b/c it's his grandfather's name (Cooper) and Casey's middle name (Michael)... and they are also his initials -- CMH. I have liked that name for as long as we have been together, but now I feel like everyone is naming their child Cooper.... so I'm kind of over it.

I also like these names because I thought it would be cutesy-poo to name our children with letters starting with our first initial too... I could just picture Christmas cards now -- "Merry Christmas. Love, Casey, Kaley, Cooper & Karley"... cute huh?

Now, I'm kind of to the point to start over fresh and come up with new baby names for my future child/children... yes, we still are undecided on if we will have one or two (or any for that matter, it's really up to God).

I also like the name "Edward" for a middle name b/c it was my grandfather's middle name. Other first names I like are Harper (girl), Hayden, Rhyder, Bodey (boys)... and I'm sure there are a million more. It's a matter of having Casey agree to it!
