Which brings me to my next point... missing Hamilton. Here are the top ten reasons I miss Hamilton.
1. family & grandma
2. my parents house (i L-O-V-E their house)
3. no allergies
4. the swimming pool in the summer
5. anywhere you go only takes 5 minutes
6. everyone literally knows your name
7. the weather
8. less crime
9. anything i need, i can get at higginbothams
10. some of my friends are still there!!
Don't let this silly top 10 fool you... I really do like Gonzales (sometimes) and it seems that it will be home for us for quite awhile. I do love our house too... it's perfect for us. People are generally nice here, but the crime is outrageous and you can't trust anyone. I lay awake at night, anxious. I believe that is partially my jobs fault and hopefully the anxiety will subside once I am a teacher (and exhausted every night). haha! But all in all, I really miss Hamilton and the simplicity (and my parents). Good thing I'm going to Hamilton Friday at noon!!! Yahoooooooooooooooooooooo!
Awe... Hamilton misses you too! We forget often (especially when you only have one grocery store or want to go see a movie on the big screen) how very fortunate we are.
