we are so close to christmas break, i can feel it! especially when i am around those CRAZY 7th graders... i can especially "feel it" then! two whole weeks off.... i imagine myself sleeping late, drinking lots of coffee in my pj's and not grading one single paper or saying "be quiet" a million times! wow, what a great two weeks it will be :) i'm sure i'll miss those pre-pubescent kiddos at some point, though.................................maybe.
here's what has been happening with the hilbig's since the last post.
our best friends, craig & leanne, had baby curtis craig at 31 1/2 weeks on december 2nd. he is doing great and growing each day. please keep him in your prayers, as well as leanne and craig. they are doing great... but of course, would LOVE to be home! they are in the NICU at Seton in Austin.
we opened a pet grooming shop. no, just kidding. we decided that we could do paisley's hair just as good as the other people.... i think we proved ourselves wrong. oh well, it looks much better than the 'shag' look she was sportin'.

and here is an AWFUL picture of our christmas lights. i came home at dark one night to find casey on the roof. you should know that my husband is DEATHLY afraid of heights... oh, that man!
they look great though. sorry the picture is awful quality.. it's with an iphone!

ReplyDeleteWe attempted to clip Lacye ourselves once...it wasn't too terrible, but it took so long that we decided it was worth the money to have her groomed! Plus the mess we had to clean up....hair everywhere! Hope you enjoy your time off....the benefits of teaching!
